Jim Selders let me know of your site. Thanks for it. I was at Mang Buk in 1966. Then at IIFFV 68-69. This Kerry brewhaha is old stuff, but it does show what a jerk he is. Still praying every day for President Bush, the administation and this country. Say a prayer for OK Senate race. The best man did not make it onto the ballet; maybe Mr. Humphreys will be OK next governor. We have a good republican running for the seat vacated by Senator Nickels. Keep on keeping on. Hi. Thank you for the articles that you wrote. My husband and I are both Viet Nam era vets, and as I read these tears just flooded as I remembered the loss and the grief that we had losing friends. Then, anger, at what that atrocity of a human being is doing to their memory. War is often a sad necessity, but to use it to further ones political ambitions is unjustifiable. Thank you for your service to this country.

I HAVE BUT ONE THING TO SAY TO THE KERRY SUPPORTERS AND THAT IS THEY ARE SUPPORTING A LIAR WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN COURT MARTIALED AND FORCED TO RESIGN FROM THE SENATE. IF THEY CONTACT ME I WILL TELL THEM TO KISS MY ASS AND GO STRAIGHT TO HELL. SIR, I SALUTE YOU AND PRAY THAT GOD GIVES YOU THE DETERMINATION TO KEEP ON FIGHTING TRASH LIKE KERRY. I wish there were some way to ensure this information was more public. I would not vote for Kerry as senator let alone president. My motto is "Don't get Kerry'd away". Your proof just reinforces what a liar he is. I am a 20+ year veteran of the Air Force and to me, his achievements would equate to me telling the world that after falling out of the back of a C-130 and surviving, I singlehandedly landed right in the very spot where Hussein was and captured him. Hey, I can embellish too! Keep up the great (and most importantly honest) writings of the truth, and see what you might be able to do to get this information more public. I know I sure will. I pray that Kerry loses and the voting public turns out in mass in support of a guy who has unquestionably done great things for this country and the world....Our current President, George W. Bush! Don, Thanks for your site. I wish I had the time to do something similar to this. Thanks also for your service to our nation. I was in Vietnam 1967-68 (2/501, 101st). Afterwards, I was discharged because of the wounds I received (unlike Mr. Kerry, it took more than a bandaid and cyclosporin to treat mine). Because of Kerry's traitorous actions in the VVAW, I would rather spend a night with Rosie O'Donnell than vote for Kerry. God Bless, Keep on Fightin' SCREAMIN' EAGLES!!

Mr. Bendell, I am a retired SF SFC (10th Grp) and current police officer. Your opinion pieces are the most thought provoking and insightful I have seen regarding the election. I have forwarded your site and the articles to everyone on my e-mail list and asked them to do the same. I agree with you 100%. My mind was made up before I ever knew any details about Sen. Kerry and his post-war activities. My decision was based soley on his ultra-liberal voting record and anti-second amendment stance. The information that has come out since his bid for president has only solidified my position. As you said, we must do everything possible to keep him from becoming our commander in chief. If not, he will make "Wild Willy" look like an amateur. Keep up the good work. Respectively, R.D. Winters SFC,USA (Ret)

Congratulations on your wonderfully honest statements. As a daughter of a highly decorated pilot, member of the Army Air Corps then the U.S. Air Force, Col. P.A. Laking would also be so very proud of your courage. One of my sons, who has fought courageously in the Middle East, also asks me to send his congratulations and thanks. Surely the American people are far too smart to elect a liar and a fraud whose Senate record is so dismal he falls back on his four month service in Vietnam where, after getting bandaids on his "wounds" videotaped himself in the role of hero, then returned to this country to denigrate his role and the role of his fellow soldiers, disgracing them further by aligning himself with Jane Fonda, who to this day remains one of the most hated women in the country. Don, thank you for your continued great service to our country. I, too, am a Vietnam vet who is thoroughly disgusted with John Kerry and his life long history of ambition, opportunism and self-promotion with utter disregard for such concepts as truth, honor, loyalty and integrity. this election I am making sure I speak to everyone in my family and circle of friends, to tell them about John Kerry and, if they agree, to get them registered to vote. My entire family is united in our resolve that John Kerry be defeated resoundingly on November 2. People, especially young people, look to veterans with great respect and your words will carry great weight. I would urge all like-minded vets, vet families and vet supporters to talk to your wives, your sons and daughters, your friends and other relatives and, if they agree with you, make sure they are registerd to vote November 2nd. Please note that the deadline to register is fast approaching in many states. This is a terrific website and I enjoy reading the many heartfelt entries. God bless you all!

I am only a housewife, but I can see this election can only be won with prayer. It is as people are blind and cannot see the truth. God is still on his throne, and He is in control. I pray Bush will be elected, as the thought of having Kerry as a president really scares me. Our freedom as we know it in America is in danger. Everything I believe in will be attacked by Kerry if he is elected. Americans need to get on their faces and pray to God to put Bush in office again, as He is the one who puts Kings (and presidents) in power. America needs to turn from her wicked ways and seek God again, and God promises to hear us and bless us again. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Thank you for your service in the real combat zone. I'm a retired Navy vet who mmade three deployments into the gulf on the old USS Oriskany (CVA-34) and stand with you in your questioning of Sen Kerry's service and in paticular his besmirching of all those who made the ultimate sacrifice and can not speak for themselves. The fact that he made these remarks and accusations, and the matter of fact manner in which he made these remarks, to me, shows that he is only interested in drawing attention to himself and his self serving ways. His is a personality not to be trusted with something so important as the presidency of this great country. To his "Band of Brothers" who stand beside him I would ask how much , and in what manner the DNC is compensating them for their and words and services.

My time was 1968-1969, flying Scouts for the 1st Cavalry (AM). You're right about Kerry, but all this emphasis on events of 30-odd years ago misses the point. This is an election for President of the U.S., not Class Prez of the local junior high. "Vote for me, I'm prettier" should not be the basis of decision. The issues of the day are (among other things) abortion, the 2nd Amendment, and the tax codes. Neither party is exactly covered in glory on those issues. I'll have to admit, though, the liberal Democrats come out a damned poor third. Right behind Gus Hall's bunch! Glad you made it back! Remember those who didn't. Gaucho

Wow! I used to live in Pittsburgh, where (St.) John Heinz was a senator. I think, by and large he was a good man for a politician. So naturally when Mrs. H remarries, we assume she has chosen wisely. Dumb me, I never checked out his voting record. Was not campaigning for him or even planning to vote for him, but did not think he was as smarmy as he is turning out to be. Thank you for your courage in speaking out and in allowing all of your labor to be forwarded, without reimbursement. This, among all other things, should demonstrate the truth behind your words. I confess I was duped by J Fonda and fought by protest the VN war. I further confess, I was guilty of not insisting our returning men and women be feted as were the military from Korea and WWII. Whether we believed in the war there or in Iraq, whether we believe in (any)war, our very life's blood was, and is being, shed in those places and should have been honored. I made peace with the men I went to school with when we opened the VN and Korean Vets memorial in our boro park, with a young man I once fancied I loved and nearly died when he nearly died flying a medevac, and with a guy from my boro who died in VN when I went to the traveling Wall. But it will never be enough. Or so I thought till I read this site. Because of you, I can do something . . . spread the word fast and hard and I've realized all I have to do is some homework. Thank you.

Kerry and his kind want to claim for the Democratic Party the word "value," as if their liberal way of thinking could be rooted in true American values. Let's take a look at that: Kerry and Liberals want you to focus on what you do not have and how "oh so horrible" it is that you do not have it. That is not a value; that is whining. President Bush and Mr. Bendell know that resources already exist to create your own American dream, and you must focus on those with creative, strong-willed gumption to make the dream come true. Working hard for want you want is a true American value. Kerry and Liberals want you to think that other people - like Republicans - are holding you back from your full potential. That is not a value; that is whining. President Bush and Mr. Bendell know that personal responsibility and strength of character make anyone capable of success. Taking charge of your own life is a true American value. Kerry and Liberals want you to believe that being wealthy is a bad and ugly thing that should be regulated so that more money goes to people less wealthy. That is not a value; that is whining. President Bush and Mr. Bendell know that charity is a traditional foundation of American life that all people -- rich or poor -- can and do exercise without the interference of government. Being wise enough with your money to be able to help others is a true American value. Kerry and Liberals want you to think the government should offer handouts to those who are struggling without regard to merit. That is not a value; that is rewarding whining. President Bush and Mr. Bendell know that families are to take care of their own, that churches and local organizations are to help the truly needy, and that government is suppose to manage the framework of how we all live together, not how we should live. Hard work, personal responsibility, taking charge of your own life, helping others with charity, being wise with your money, and a government that governs instead of being an enabling sugar daddy -- yes, that's the America I value.

Oh it's so sad. It's a sad sight to see so many misguided military morons indoctinated into a world of gun-ho, kung-fu grip, G.I. Joe fantasy BS to think they know more about what's good for their country because they shot a few "gooks" in a war they thought was righteous. In fact, they were nothing more than cannon fodder and guinea pigs for the fat cat arms dealers who were peddling their goods to the government they SO loved. You think diplomacy is something that ends at the barrel of the gun. You think strategy is a head-on assault. You think tactics is beating someone over the head until they agree with you. Sorry guys, you've been fooled. You're not fighting for freedom, liberty, or the American way of life. You're simply helping the fat cats get fatter. THat's not capitalism, it's not democracy you're fighting for; you're protecting cronyism, and plutocracy. And for the record: Kerry volunteered to go to Vietnam, G.W. "Monkey Boy" Bush barely passed the National Air Guard exam, and was pushed ahead by his father's connections. Even then, G.W. Bush did NOT serve his N.A.G. honorably. He was AWOL for 5 months, and was eventually suspended from flying. Get your facts straight.

Thank you for giving people the real deal on Kerry. His is a disgrace and with God's grace, we will not have him in the White House as our President. He has no morals and no respect for those currently serving or those that have served in the past. As for Michael Moore, he is an ignorant fool and no respect. Whatever pads his pocket is what he projects. He should move to Iraq or Afhganistan and then maybe he would have more respect for authority. My husband is currently serving in Afghanistan. It is no cakewalk. He has watched Farenheit 9/11 and sent it home to us to watch on DVD. I knew it was fate when the DVD arrived and will not play on our DVD player. He called Michael Moore an idiot. Those serving in the Armed Forces support Bush and his efforts. He is their leader and has led them well. I chat with other military wives on an internet website and was so disgusted with the ads of Kerry that continuously popped up that I asked them to replace them with something else. I mean, really, who wants to look at death warmed over now and the next four years? Thank you for all you do on the efforts to keep Kerry and those like him out of the White House!

Don, great work on exposing the truth about Kerry. My husband is a Vietnam veteran U.S.Army 4th Infantry Div,, serving 68-70, He also had a brother in the Marines serving in Vietnam at the same time and neither would come home, remember that if a family already had a son in Vietnam, the other son did not have to go, but neither would be the one to go home. Another older brother, 101st Airborne, Green Beret, that served 2 tours of Vietnam, he gladly went back the second time. I am appalled by the verbage (lies)that the "leftist" news channels, newspapers, Hollywood stars (who really cares what Hollywood has to say anyway, they live in a fantasy world), say about our President. The news channels should play the footage of 9/11 again, then maybe the "leftist" do gooders would remember why we are fighting???!!!!Keep up the good work, I will pass this on to everyone I know. Dear Don, As an active duty Senior Chief with nearly 19 years of service and currently on the line in support of OEF/OIF I first want to thank you for your service to our great nation. I truly appreciate your candor in regards to Mr. John Kerry. I find it appalling to see an individual who has cheated the military system to cover their own ass then use the American political system to feed their own financial gain. As I watch these young men and women dying over here as they face the enemy head on, it becomes harder to watch a man compete for the highest office of our country knowing that he skirted his way out of frontline action by using the underlining rule of three purple hearts. More importantly by accentuating the wounds in flowery wording in which to receive them. Here most do not get the opportunity to get two or even three purple hearts, because most wounds have be due to direct or indirect hit with RPG¡¯s. I would rather that he (John Kerry) had just shot himself it the foot, hand or better yet his head. Especially after his disgusting display in the streets of the US as a lead protester with GI Jane and who had the balls throw his awards in the White House lawn (I guess they don¡¯t mean much when you haven¡¯t earned them). A man who condoned spiting on the men who had fought in Vietnam long after he had returned, as they walked thru the airports and down the streets of American. That would include my great uncle also an Army Capt who served five years in country and who like you was also part of the SP Forces as an advisor to the South Vietnamese; my father who served 3 ?years on the front line on the ships and river boat patrols picking up the bodies of our US service men so that could make it home to their love one for closure (who passed away at 55 due to exposure to Agent Orange) and my step-father, Terry Bradley (the nephew of Gen Omar Bradley) who was part of the elite green beret (a Forces of Seven member) who still won¡¯t talk about it to this day. Don, you know the nightmares continue long after getting home. John Kerry, don¡¯t even think they have forgotten. Funny thing about service in a war zone, you never forget! After watching our military going through eight years for downsizing and reduced funding during the Clinton years. I honestly don't think I can stand another period of consuling our junior enlisted to give up their pride and go back on food stamps as another poor example as Commander and Chief rips down the military to parade rest. Having to wait for a returning deployed ship so you can obtain a critical part so that your ship can be the next reliever on station ¨C funding was that bad. John Kerry, he¡¯ll vote YES today and when the CNN poll shows a shift tomorrow will vote NO and deny any involvement. Yes for the war, No for funding the men and women on the front lines ¨C go to war with no bullets? We can¡¯t afford another Clinton, who talks but does not act. Who turned our military into the World Aid Service (WAS). Who with overwhelming information sat on his ass during a golf tournament rather than take a phone call from his Secretary of Defense and blew the chance to take out Bin Laden before 9-11 (ref the book by Lt. Col Robert ¡°Buzz¡± Patterson, USAF(Ret) called Dereliction of Duty - a direct witness). We had the chance to keep to war front in the terrorist¡¯s back yard but instead we let them in our own country. It was the worst feeling I have ever had while wearing this uniform, than to see my own home front destroyed while we the Armed Forces of the United States were deployed in every aid stricken country around the world rather that protecting the home front as the military was intended for. To say everything achieved in Iraq by the US and coalition forces have served no real purpose. Well, to John Kerry I say grab a flack jacket, helmet and M-16 and hop in a hummer; spend some time on the streets in Najaf and Baghdad. Especially on a day like to day 12 August 2004, when our 11th Meu Soc is in the mix of it in Najaf making a difference. Maybe after a full tour in country, six to 12 months you will begin to see the change. Anything that¡¯s worth changing, this is a challenge. It doesn¡¯t happen over night and it doesn¡¯t come easy. Instead it requires gut wrenching dedication. Something I still do not believe John Kerry will ever understands. Don, thanks for listening. Know that the hearts and souls of every Marine, Sailor, Soldier and Airman is in this fight; these people have been through enough! We saw the changes in the people during the liberation from Saddam¡¯s forces. We still see it as they gain control of their own country and are able to make choices for themselves. We ask that you keep praying for those on the front lines making a difference and those who making the ultimate sacrifice. God Bless. Keep up the good fight, we¡¯re right there with you. With Great Admiration and Respect, Ben Johns

Don, I am only 23 years old, so I was not alive to witness all that happened during the Vietnam War. I suppose my response may not be as valued as coming from someone who had to witness what you witnessed, but I really need to write you and say God Bless You and the all of the brave men who went into battle. You went in not with the intention of coming home to brag about purple hearts that should never have been handed out, but to protect the country that you love so dearly. I have spent the last year living in Marin county of CA (if you have ever dealt with California politics, you will know exactly where that is-scary place) consistently trying to defend my Republican beliefs, from uneducated, power-hungry Democrats that quote their favorite liberal television shows. I have been made to feel like I was not a good person simply because I was a Republican. Not anymore. Thanks for showing me that it is really okay to be who I am and support what I want to support: a man who does want to keep our country safe, not a man who would betray anyone who gets in his way of hanging his hat in the White House. Thanks for all you are doing to get your voice heard. It is a shame that news programs are more interested in ratings than what the real people of America have to say. One comment I have is that I am proud to be part of a family that has served it's country honorably for generations untold and without exception. In my generation my own family had 3 boys who volunteered for 3 of the 5 services; Army, Navy and Air Force. All of us served a tour in Viet Nam honorably and 2 of us served at the same time within miles of each other. Another comment I do not wish to be taken wrong is that I do not like John Kerry, but like Kerry I served a short tour. I spent exactly 8 months at the University of South Viet Nam before my enlistment expired. (At the time the military was not allowing extended tours because of the blackmarket scandal I'm sure you remember that was affectionaly nicknamed the Sgt-Major Wooldridge Blues or I'll getta kickback outa you's.) Therefore my only options were to become a civilian or re-enlist for stateside duty. That was a no brainer. I did not quit the fight early by choice. I came home to Denver Colorado and while still in the uniform of America's elite Green Beret, wanted only to peacably walk the downtown streets of my innocence to gain some perspective. I am sure all of you remember that feeling of elation when it comes to you that you actually made it back. Some of us were less fortunate and it is to those that I give my thanks for being with me in spirit and staying my hand when I was set upon and spit upon by a gaggle of Fonda Flockers led by Ted Turners future whore. Please do not edit this. If she wants to sue me for liable for calling her a whore I will gladly countersue for her calling me a babykiller, when in fact I saved more than one baby's life in my short time overseas. She, however, would eventually marry Ted Turner but she wouldn't take his name because it was already implied and much too apropo. First she turned against her country and then she turned against her cause and married money. Then she turned again and divorced when the possibility of a spotlight was again eminant. Enough about nothing, my comments here speak for themselves. I would also like to comment Don that I believe we could have met a world away and a lifetime ago. I was a medic with the 1st Mobile Strike Force Command, 5th Special Forces, Da Nang known as the Mike Force. Ours was a reactionary Strike Force able to deploy within the hour to assist outlying "A" teams and "B" teams or any of the other military services in need located in I Corp our AO (area of operation) including downed American pilots and escaped POW's. Another comment, unlike John Kerry I do not lie about my military service or claim horrors or honors I am not entitled to. Unlike John Kerry, I did not return home a turncoat. I did not marry a Jane F***ing Fonda wannabe nor did I claim valor for doing my job. I did accept the Vietnamese Cross of Gallanty awarded as a gesture by our counterparts in recognition of the time we served together. I did accept the Army Commendation Medal with V for Valor only after it was downgraded. I did not carry a weapon in any of the dozen or so conflicts I was a part of except the first. I was not a conscientious objector, I simply made a rational decision after our first deployment. It quickly became all too apparent that I could not hump the mountainous terrain in our AO and carry all the medical supplies necessary to do my job wtih the additional burden of armament. This is beside the fact that when we did engage, there was simply no need for me to carry a weapon, everybody circled wagons around the medic for purely selfish reasons I am sure. As I said, I was not a conscientious objector, I had to volunteer 5 different times just to get the best job in the entire Viet Nam conflict. I know you know Don, but not everyone is aware, that to become part of Special Forces you have to be a triple volunteer. I had to volunteer for the Service of my choice as did my brothers. I had to volunteer for Special Forces which included volunteering for and successfully completing Airborne training. Then because of the short time left in the military after the completion of all the training I was given, I had to go to the Pentagon to volunteer for duty in Viet Nam. When arriving in Nam I had to volunteer for assignment to the Mike Force which in I Corp, along with several A sites, B sites and C and C teams was desimated by the Tet offensive of 1968. Enough about John Kerry, that bitch and me. Vote for Waldo, Mickey Mouse or anybody but a known self serving opportunist and liar. William Bowser...

I am going to retire from the Marine Corps in November of this year, with over 20 years of service to my country. My unit was activated last year and sent to Iraq in support of the War on Terrorism. I only served 2 1/2 months actually in Iraq due to a medical emergency, but I was there, I did go, I went on patrol's with my Marines. I went out to their posts while they were sweating under the broiling heat to check on them. I even stood the post a few times to give some of them a much needed break. The greatest honor I have ever had was to serve with those guys, to serve with all of the troops. I am very honored and proud to have given 20 years of my life to the defense of this great nation. I applaud your efforts to get the real truth out about this political mess John Kerry is trying to drag this country through. I stand in awe of EVERY veteran who has gone before me, I only hope and pray I can continue to uphold the highest traditions and expectations of all of you. I will always defend the troops and our veterans against bold-faced liars like John Kerry. I will help spread the word to others that he cannot be trusted with the key to our country. He should be tried for treason, not voted into our highest office!! God Bless our troops, and God Bless America!

Another quote is more appropos here - Worry about nothing, but pray about everything - Phillipians 4:6. I am a Christian, a patriot, and ex-USAF. Annual deficit 521 billion Iraq war 170 billion + 5 billion a month 180 Hospitals = 793 milliom Iraq police = 500 million 2300 schools and train 10000 teachers = 62 million While at the same time , we are being told that the resousces are not available for the same projects in the United States. Is backing Bush dysfunctional thinking or what? Republican Answer: "If someone expresses dislike/disdain for our Beloved Leader, tell them to move to France, Germany, Afghanistan, Russia, etc." "When your opponent confronts you with irrefutable facts, call them a 'homo' a 'traitor' or ask them why they hate America."

Thank you so much for telling it like it is. As far as the Bush tax cut being for the wealthy only is a lot of bull. Since the first tax cut I have not paid any income tax to federal or state. No, I am not wealthy. I am a retired military wife and my husband was an enlisted man not an officer. That puts me in the middle class. I have posted this information and had replies criticizing me because I do not pay my "fair share" of taxes. The democrats are so two faced it isn't even funny. I thank President Bush for giving me more of my money to use as I see fit instead of the government spending it like it is water. Thanks again. God bless you...

First of all...God Bless you Don for all you are doing and for your service to our country. I was just made aware of you this evening. And searched and found your site. Secondly, my father Paul Jackson Tolliver fought and was killed in WWII at the Battle of The Bulge so that people like Michael Moore could have the freedom he does, to say and do the things he does; even if they are blatant lies. Thirdly, but I 'have to believe' that there are more good men and women out here than the likes of the Michael Moore's of this world; and that truth will truimph when all is said and done. Fourthly, and to that end, we will add your name to our prayer list; as we pray daily for our troops! Keep up the good work! God bless you and may God bless America!

Just a note to say, Great Site!!. I served in the USAF Crash Crew for four years in 81, never involved in wartime conflict though, and currently am a Detective for 18 years. I live in Kerry's state of Massachusetts, and I can't stand the man, if you want to call him that. I consider this election of the most important elections ever, and I will be voting for George Bush, and so will my family, friends and co-workers. Keep up the good work!

I hope that your "grassroots campaign" against John Kerry is successful--thank you for speaking out! Although all the war stories, etc. about Kerry are reason enough for a vote against him, I'd like to offer one more reason: he is FOR murder in our own country. This would be in the form of partial-birth abortion because he is promising to reverse the ban on this atrocious procedure. Life is precious at all stages and I realize innocent people are being killed every day in Iraq--but so are those poor innocent babies right here in the USA! If he can't respect the lives of the innocent at the very first stages, how can we believe that he will stand up for life at any other stage? Thank you for what you are doing! God bless you!

Keep up the good work. To Kill an American Islamabdd,Pakistan newspaper published an offer to reward anyone who killed an American, any American. So an Australian dentist wrote the following to let everyone know what an American is, so they would know when they found one. (Good on ya, mate!!!!) An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghan. An American may also be a Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans. An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God. An American is from the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each person the pursuit of happiness. An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need. When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country.! As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome the best, the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best athletes. But they also welcome the least. The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America. Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. I've been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 other countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists. So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and every bloodthirsty tyrant in the history of the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

SENATOR JOHN F. KERRY - OBSERVATIONS BY A U.S.AIRFORCE PILOT ~~~ I'm confident that in approximately 15 minutes this article will be in the inboxes of every resident of the free world and maybe even a few people in France. Submitted by Cris Thomas, Air Force Pilot ~~~ I would like to add my two cents about my John Kerry experience. During my career as an Air Force pilot, I spent two years flying a small twin engine prop plane around the Pacific from my base in Okinawa, Japan. On one trip we had to fly Senator Kerry, his Congressional aide and a Navy Captain (Vietnam, A-4 fighter pilot) who was also in Kerry's party, to various locations in Vietnam and Cambodia as part of the MIA/POW talks. When I met him, he was wearing a shirt with a picture of his sailboat on it. I told him I had a 27' sailboat in Okinawa and he remarked "Oh, I never sail on anything less than 135 feet." Thanks, Senator, "I feel even better about the meager salary I get paid for flying you around the Pacific." When we first flew him into Phnom Penh, he went to the back of the airplane and grabbed the pizza that was put aside for the crew and passed it around to his staff. He was never offered any pizza because they were supposed to have lunch with the Cambodian government when we landed. The pizza was the crew's only meal for that day and he ate it. Then when we picked him up in Cambodia, he was an hour late getting to the airport. Because fuel was an issue, we could not start the engines and therefore the air conditioning until he arrived. Phnom Penh at that time was over 100 degrees with 95% humidity and we were basically sitting in a greenhouse behind the cockpit windows. When he finally did arrive, we were wringing out our clothes from the perspiration. He walks out of the air conditioned car, into the airplane and asks us "Could you guys get the air-conditioning running? I'm a little warm." The other pilot had to physically restrain me from going back there and clocking him. Then we took him into Noi Bai airfield in Hanoi. After we picked him up the next day (he stayed the night in Vietnam we stayed in Bangkok), we taxied out, ran up the engines for take off and noticed that our prop rpm was vibrating all over the place. We taxied off to the side to look at it as there was a good possibility that there was an engine malfunction and the engine may fail if we took off with it. Well, Mr. Senator sticks his head up in the cockpit and says "This plane WILL take off. I have a press conference in Bangkok in three hours!" (Maybe this is an indication of how he will run the FAA). American service members¡¯ lives be damned, we had our Senatorial orders. We ran the engines again and did not have the problem, so we took off and made it back. During the flight, he told everyone how he had taken a Cessna (a small General aviation plane) up with a fighter pilot and the fighter pilot remarked that Kerry was one of the best pilots he had ever seen. I don't know about other pilots out there, but it's hard to imagine a little, single-engine prop plane pilot being able to show the "right stuff." After Kerry left the plane, the Navy Captain came up to us, apologized and said basically that "he knows Kerry is a jerk" and that we should be glad we don't have to deal with him every day. Your choice, folks. Election¡¯s in November. You want a "mega-millionaire, ego-maniac, it's-all-about-me, crew-eating-pizza-ite¡± like Kerry or maybe a Green Party candidate, or an ¡°Independent¡± like Ralph Nader? Or, God forbid, maybe even re-elect George Bush, a nice God-fearing Christian bent on protecting us from terrorist attacks on U.S. soil? Hmmm, let's see? Continued freedom under President Bush or bombs in our backyard under Kerry (who will be sailing on his "minimum 135' yacht")? As Fox would say, "We report. You decide." D. Patrick Batten

Sir Tonight as I sit and write this I am in awe and admiration for what you have put into words.I fly for a living and the company that I work for has a heavy presence in the middle east flying AMC missions in support of our military. When the ground war started in Iraq we flew constantly and the common mind set among the people that I work with was a pride in our troops that I cannot describe.WE saw first hand the drive and dedication of the men and women that we dealt with on a daily basis.Mission accomplishment was the order of the day and everything else be damned.I also think that there was maybe a little guilt on our part that we could'nt do more.WE bid these lines based on company senority and we fly these missions becouse we believe, becouse we in our own small way we want to help that tired 19 year old kid to do his job and get home safetly. Most of our crews are ex military and would do it for free if it were necessary, becouse we want to.I spent 4 years on active duty in the Marines and looking back I feel that I was priviliged to have served with and stood shoulder to shoulder with some of the finest human beings on Gods green earth(though our platoon sgt might have had a different slant on the situation)Stand tall and speak the truth, know that in the end that what you do is as important as that 19 year old kid riding around in the back of a humvee, waiting for that next corner ,to see if the world will go mad and what the price tag is today.Thank you and God bless.

The Family of POW/MIA Lt. Col. Gary Fors, Comments on John Kerry Dear Friends Against John Kerry: Captain Gary H. Fors sitting there with the thumbs up sign is the very reason why the likes of John Kerry should not be allowed to even think of running for the Highest Office in the land. Gary served willingly to sacrifice his life, to preserve our liberty and freedom. Never once did he question the importance of the United States intentions in Vietnam. John Kerry, on the other hand, came back to this country and diminished the importance of all the fighting men and women in Vietnam. His liberal agenda clearly played into the hands of our enemies. Communists, Fascist, and Terrorists are at war with the United States around the World and in our homeland. Our family disagrees with John Kerry to normalize relations with the Vietnamese. We want pressure to be borne on the communist to get a full accounting of each and every soldier. "Our freedom is our heritage, we cannot afford to relinquish it." Captain Gary Fors was shot down Laos 12-22-67. A number of years later Captain Gary H. Fors, Captain Thomas B.Mitchell, and Captain Mervin L. Morill were spotted in a cave some where along or close to the Ho Chi Minh trail. From that day until now, Gary Fors has vanished from the face of the earth. Somewhere, somehow, someday, somebody, will bring the truth out. Don, I just read an article by John McCain condemning the ad put out by the SwiftVets against Kerry and I am very disturbed by it. He says that it is wrong and that President Bush should condemn it. Doesn't he realize that there are millions of veterans that abhor what Kerry did to our history for his own personal gain? He has his station in life secure and doesn't want to relive the war any more but what about the rest of us? Vets should bombast Senator McCain with there thoughts on this issue and let him know he should represent us and not Hanoi John Kerry. Thank you for your 8th editorial, I thought it was excellent.

I was in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1976 including my last year of highschool in the U.S. Navy Reserves. I was on active duty after graduating highschool in 1964 until I was discharged as a Chief Pety Officer in 1976. I was in the Oregon Army National Guard from 1976 to 1985 when I retired as a Warrant Officer. Needless to say, I don't equate being in the reserves or National Guard with draft dodging like our previous President. I was in several amphibious landings from Da Nang to the Dong Ha River with the U.S. Marines onboard the USS Lenawee (APA-195) in 1965/1966. We also went to Korea and picked up the White Horse Division of the Korean Marines and made an amphibious landing with them in Viet Nam. I was an advisor assigned to Naval Advisory Team 43 at Qui Nhon Swift Base in 1970/1971. I was in Hanoi and Haiphong onboard the USS New Orleans (LPH-11) for the mine clearing and POW release in 1973. I was assigned as an armed body guard for the North Vietnamese negotiating team when they visited the USS New Orleans. If you look at the Communist Party's website at www.cpusa.org, you will see that they are in lock step with John Kerry. The fact that I believe John Kerry is unfit to be our Commander-in-Chief worrys me. To see him totaly supported by the Communist Party really galls me. They don't need to nominate their own candidate for President this election year.

It may be well to point out that not all vets share the obviously slanted views expressed on this site. There are many vets whose beliefs are diametrically opposed to Bendell's. He, and those who express support for his views, do not have a corner on patriotism as one would infer from the messages we find here. In my humble opinion John Kerry showed greater courage by speaking against the debacle that was Viet Nam than those who still carp on the fact he didn't ride on their bandwagon.. He did vote to go to war in Iraq. Given all the political pressures exerted on congress who would not have done so? I may have missed it but nowhere have I seen anyone here mention the fact we ALL got sold a bill of goods justifying the decision of Bush and Cheney to go to war. Notice I said Bush and Cheney. It's time for a reality check people. A trip to the movies to see 9/11 Fahrenheit is recommended.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your work, especially your Kerry editorials. I have sent all seven to our local newspaper and challenged them to print and/or refute anything in them. Like Kerry, I returned from RVN a little early, a Purple Heart being involved. Unlike Kerry, my tour was from September '67 to December '68 - 15 months with the 25th ID. I did my 12 months plus three months of my extension. Rather than cut out on my brothers and leave someone else to finish my tour, I extended my tour to stay with them. I was a medic and could have had a dozen Kerry-style PH's. I saw too many young men shipped out in body bags, almost all getting just one PH. I saw a lot of officers like Kerry who showed up at our aid stations and clearing stations wanting a PH for a band aid "injury". We kicked their asses out. A couple of them prominently displayed military academy rings, so I gave them special treatment. I dragged their sorry asses up to brigade HQ so they could directly explain to Col Yerks why their "wounds" were enough to justify a PH. No PH for them, but they did get Article 15's, which is whatKerry deserved. I was incredulous when reading about his Silver Star. In my division his actions would have rated a General Court Martial. Thanks again for your good work. Please keep it up.

Don, thanks for carrying the message. As a Democrat, let me go one step further and urge all who are not 100% content with the current administration to vote for George W. Bush instead of not voting at all. We need a proven dedicated leader to continue the fight against terrorism over the next four years.

I cannot begin to tell you how appreciative I am for your taking up the fight for all of us. If you check Webster's, you will find that the definition of "traitor" fits Kerry to a tee. I find it really scarry that there are so many people in this country that believe that Kerry is the best choice for president!!

I first thank all of you who have and do serve our country in the armed forces. You are my heroes. Thank you Don and all of those who take the time to investigate and disseminate the truth. There are those of the 30 something generation who are looking for help in deciphering true from false. I believe your website provides that avenue. If we stand by President Bush this election HELP IS ON THE WAY.

Received a copy of an email that must have truly originated from you now that I've visited your website. Most interesting, indeed. As a sometimes outspoken disability advocate, I'm assumed to be a Dem (even had someone spam me onto the Democratic Party's emailing list recently), but I point blank don't like nor do I trust what I currently see out there on the market. For that matter, I'm not particularly thrilled with any, either, or, that I have seen from ANY party at this point. Would sure like to hear the word "disability" and "senior" mentioned a whole lot more, guys, before I'll commit my vote to anyone or any party. Not sure yet just exactly what I'm going to do when the countdown finally does get down to Election Day.. Wishing us all the best of luck during the upcoming four years.. "Connie"

I am writing this on behalf of J.W. Schrader- who is recovering from a heart attack at this time. He would not approve of my writing about his tours in Vietnam. He was there for 23 months. (19 months longer than John Kerry). He was on the patrol boats and was a "river rat." He saw his buddies wounded and killed- some unspeakable things that he still has nightmares about. He was wounded on several occasions and had the opporunity to put in for Purple Hearts. He didn't feel that was necessary. He was only doing his job. Upons return to the States, he was cursed and spit at and called "Baby Killer." The American Public had already heard from John Kerry and the Vietnam Veteran's Against the War- who were poisoning minds with their lies of atrocities. The thought of this man becoming our Commander In Chief - is laughably ironic. But mostly, scary.

Thank you for trying to set the record straight about Kerry and for providing a venue for opinions and facts untainted by the liberal/socialist spin of the mainstream media. Thank you also for your service to our country. My parents served in the Army (Dad did 20 with 2 tours in Vietnam; detested Kerry till the day he died!), my husband is retired Army, I served in the Army Reserve and Texas National Guard, and my daughter will be commissioned in the Army in 2 years. My son hopes to serve as well in 7 years. Thank you also for your comments/support of the Guard & Reserve. Comments denigrating our C-in-C's service in the Air Guard during Vietnam, are a slap in the face to all of us who have honorably served (as he did). During Gulf War I, my medical unit was activated, but we served as "back-fill" for active soldiers. The majority of us were disappointed not to go to the combat zone, but knew all of us had a mission - even if it meant serving "stateside". It's interesting to note the "Dems" stance on the importance of military service now, but when former-President Clinton ran, it was a non-issue. BTW - isn't it deplorable the way the "Bush-haters" refuse to honor the position, if not the man by using the appropriate honorific when referring to him? It's PRESIDENT Bush, not Bush or Dubya! Even though I detest Former-Presidents Clinton and Carter, I will still accord them the respect they deserve for having served as President of the United States, by referring to them appropriately. Thanks again. (P.S. nice to know you're a fellow Martial Artist).

Thank you for this website ... and the REAL truth. Thank you also for your heroic service. As those of us with a brain know, George W. Bush MUST get re-elected. I have the utmost respect for him and his wife, Laura, who has REAL class. The scumbag Kerry and his trashy bag-o-money wife cannot be allowed to enter the White House. Kerry really should be hung for treason, and I've maintained that viewpoint for quite some time now. I am doing all I can to spread the truth, but it's amazing how many idiots (Kerry supporters) we have in this country, and what is even more unbelievable is that they actually walk upright on two feet. Liberalism, in my book, is a mental illness, and a mentally-ill traitor in the White House is totally unacceptable. When our enemies endorse a candidate for president, that, in itself, should be illuminating. Keep us the vigilance, and working together, we shall overcome the enemies. The liberal media have given Kerry lots of rope and, hopefully, the traitor will hang himself with it. God Bless America and all the people who love this country!

Growing up on a farm, two devices fascinated me ¨C the lightning rods that sat atop the house, which were designed to take a bolt of lightning and run its power down a cable to be grounded safely outside the home; and the windmill, which by the time I lived on the farm sat over a dry well. Bush is like the lightning rods ¨C he is willing to stick his neck out and take a few political and personal hits to save the house because he cares about those inside. Kerry is like the windmill -- turning in whatever direction the wind is blowing at the time and pumping nothing up from the ground but stale air.

Don,Being a Marine Surveyor, I became curious about the name of John Kerry's Motor Yacht, the "Scaramouche". As with all pleasurecraft, a yachts name usually signifies a personal message being expressed by it's owner. As you may recall the demise of the Presidential election hopes of Senator Gary Hart(D-Co)in 1988, ending with an affair aboard the Motor Yacht, "Monkey Business" Accordingly, I looked up the definition of the name of John Kerry's Yacht: Scaramouche- 'skaru`mawch-[n] a stock character in commedia dell'arte depicted as a "boastful coward". Boastful Coward.................It fits!!!

Here's something you are not going to see on the evening news or in the newspapers. Found this at NewsMax. The Kerry's and Edwards were having lunch at Wendy and Hanoi John decided to get an photo op by talking with some Marines that were having lunch near there table/booth. "The Kerry-Edwards campaign hit another bump during its Wendy's visit when Sen. Kerry tried to engage four Marines who were seated nearby in conversation. The Marines, stationed at nearby Stewart Air Force Base, replied tersely, then later complained to reporters that Kerry had "imposed" on their lunch to burnish his credentials as a friend of veterans. "He imposed on us and I disagree with him coming over here and shaking our hands," one of the Marines told the New York Post. "I'm 100 percent against him." If we could get this on the news it would require some major damage control by his staff to plug the holes in his "veterans/military support me" BS. I wonder if his band of brothers were there! Have faith people are reading these websites and the word is getting out. Don't forget to order John O'Neil's new book due out next month "Unfit to Command". Looking forward to reading the real story about Kerry's four month tour. Joined the Navy on a Kiddie Cruise but end up staying 32 years.
