Great article about Kerry .... why is the truth so absent from the mainstream media? It
makes one shudder for the fate of our nation, so often controlled by the self-serving. I
am in awe of the size of the reply section and the content of those comments. I served one
tour in Vietnam (Army,329th Heavy Boat, Danang), no combat - but not my idea of fun,
either. We were armed, of course - and therefore could have committed terror - but I never
saw any or heard even a whisper of any ... Bless you, Don, for trying to expose the truth

Very good comments. I'm a retired combat veteran. 20 years in Airborne and Airborne
Ranger assignments. I am amazed out how the "war protester" now brings up his
war record when it is politically convenant. U.S. troops have always served with great
valor. Not all are perfect, this should not detract from the sacrifices made by the many.
Our troops need a President, like Bush, that has a true commitment to them. President Bush
is a true "Patriot" and a defender of democracy. I am proud of my military
service and will always support our troops in war or peace. "The last person that
wants war is the one that has to fight it".

Right on Don! I did a few tours myself, and like most GIs I know from a couple of wars,
turned down a purple heart because it was a band aid wound. We all know medals too often
were given out by favour. No matter what I think of any of the conflicts our country

created by professional politicians..and the GI has never lost one. The politicians have.

I have long felt the John Kerry is just another example of rich kid who received some
pretty cheap decorations(VERY remmenicent of the original JFK). I, for one, am NOT at all
impressed with his "chest full of medals." As a grunt with the 5th Marines, I
knew too many who fought harder, more frequently and under far more difficult
circumstances who returned home with only the Combat Action Ribbon to show for it. As for
Kerry's Silver Star, it clearly does NOT meet the established criteria for the Nation's
THIRD HIGHEST award for VALOR. His Purple Hearts do not deserve mention and Kerry,
himself, knows it. That's why he's tried to duck any questions about them. No, I won't be
voting for him. I have nothing but contempt for the man.

MR. Bendell, Thank you for your informative words. Hopefully people who believe in Sen.
Kerry and the fallacies that spout out of his mouth will read your articles, and become
more intelligent to what actually happend over thirty years ago in that small jungle
nation in south east asia. My Grandfather served three tours as a Green Beret in Vietnam
and is still in pain thirty-five years after being wounded, and in the twenty-three years
that I have known him I have never heard him utter one word against the war in Vietnam or
any other soldier he served with. If Sen. Kerry had any honor what so ever he would praise
his fellow vet's rather than going for the liberal vote and discracing them or the memory
of the true hero's, the one's that never came home. My hats off to all vet's of any war.

Sir, As we move back into Iraq, I wanted to thank you and all Veterans of all the

the guard, but you have or are serving and that is what counts. Were there problems in
Vietnam, yes, but Kerry, instead of being part of the solution, was part of the problem.
That ugly version of Jay Leno makes me sick! Here is a guy who threw his medals into a
fire to protest the Vietnam War. Then he hides behind them and says, look at me, I am a
war hero. NO WAY! He is such a hypocrite! Those medals hang in a place of honor in his
office. He is all about the show and cares nothing for America as a whole, he is a selfish

Vietnam. They were & still are honorable men. When I queried one of my co-workers (he
was a USN small boat driver on the rivers in Vietnam for 22 mos) about Kerry's exploits in
his 4 month boating expdeition. My co-worker replied Kerry did all the wrong things in his
actions there. In fact, my friend stated he had to be a f%^&ing idiot for doing some

Dear Don, Thank you for your continuing bravery and service through your words and this
website. If the likes of Kerry and the Judges he would appoint come to control this land
then all of the freedoms handed down from the Founding Fathers will be gone. Mr. McCain
seems to be willing to give the power of deciding what speech is acceptable and what is
not to the likes of lying leftists like Kerry who voted in favor of partial birth
abortion. They keep the babies heads buried in the mother's womb so that no one hears the
screams of the infant while it is being murdered. And they have the NERVE to talk about
baby killers! They pay the Mengele's of American medicine with our tax money! What will
they do to us when they have absolute power. If we don't fight them now they will
indocrinate our children to be like them and bring down the wrath of God on America. Now
when I pray at night I know that I am not alone, thank you. Let us ask the Father for
strength, fortitude and sound judgement. God Bless You All and Thank You for the Love you
have shown at terrible cost to yourselves! We do not deserve you and we risk the hell of

As a former soldier who was drafted during Vietnam, served honorably for more than a
quarter century, and commanded an Aviation Task Force in the Balkans, I am compelled to
say something about Duty, Honor, Country and those who would hide behind 'patriotic'
rhetoric to dismiss their own conduct and failures. Mr. Kerry, you should be ashamed of
yourself. Like most politicians, whether they're wearing a military uniform or 3-piece
suit in Congress, you'll tell people whatever is politically expedient to further your
agenda. You and people like you know nothing about the challenge of a better man:
"Ask not what your country can do for you... ." As a former enlisted soldier who
came home, after being sent to fight in a distant land by people like you, I was spat upon
for the 'privilege' and labeled a baby killer. I can't speak for you, sir, but neither I
nor anyone I served with ever killed a baby or any other noncombatant. If I had witnessed
or had knowledge of such atrocities it was my duty and moral obligation to put a stop to
it or, at the very least, report it. I have taken a stand against evil in my life, even
when that stand was unpopular and threatened to end my career... because it was the right
thing to do. But I doubt you'd know what I'm talking about. Like my father before me, who
fought in the Battle of the Bulge and helped libertate the Nazi concentration camps at
Mouthausen, I too have a chest full of medals but that does not give me the right to say
whatever I wish in the shameless pursuit of personal glory or political self-interest. Mr.
Kerry, if there is any justice you will be defeated at the polls in November, assuming you
are the Democratic party's candidate of choice. If that should be the case, it's further
proof of their willingness to further lower the bar of human decency to get back into the
White House. And if that happens, I hope your own self-serving words set impeachment
proceedigs into motion... on charges of Conduct Unbecoming an Officer, Dereliction of
Duty, and, last but not least, Withholding or Covering Up Information About War Crimes.
Mr. Kerry, you and Mr. Kennedy may be fit to represent the people of Massachusetts, but
the rest of us hold our leaders to a higher standard. The nation's elected office, and the
position of Commander-in-Chief, deserves better than anything another liberal senator from
Massachusetts has to offer. God bless America.

I was in the USAF from 1963 through 1967 most of that time overseas. I, like many
others during that time were looked on with disgust and disdain when I returned home and
wore my uniform (with pride). I truly believe that people like John Kerry and Jane Fonda
are very similar to the current left wing Hollywood types that are so set against our
President. We have in this country a lot of people who have forgot how to think for
themselves and let their so-called "Hero's" think for them. They have forgotten
how to size up a person or a situation that requires action on their parts, but instead
let the Hollywood actors tell them what to do and say.

Kerry was upset when his hero Tom Brady sat in the President's booth with his wife
Laura during the state of the union address. Unlike Brady, Kerry goes 3 and out in 4
months time. I want to see his record opened up like "W's" was. Let us all see
why he got the 3 band-aid PH's and who put him in for them. The liberal media will never
ask to see his records. It's a shame that this clown is able to control the media the way
he does. Have you noticed this trouble in Haiti. Hanoi Kerry is already trying to
capitalize on this situation by mucking it up through the media. God help us if this vile,
wicked man becomes CINC.

WARNING! Make sure your antivirus definitions are up to date before signing this
honorable guestbook. Apparently some "peace loving" Kerry supporters have
initiated violence against some signers by sending us a virus(intercepted and killed by my
AV software) in an e-mail with the subject of "fake" and text of "you are a
bad writer". This excellently endowed guestbook was my only posting recently. I just
spent over an hour(30 min the first time I signed)reading the stirring words of the good
people signing it. I notice their names, e-mail addresses and hometowns are proudly
displayed, while almost all of those critical of Mr. Bendell and/or President Bush
demonstrate viciousness, profanity, and cowardice, because they do so under obviously
false ID. They can't answer the arguments so they seek to abridge the free speech of those
with whom they disagree. Typical of socialists and socialism, the only system in the
history of man that had to build walls, not to keep invaders out, but to keep its' own
people in. Thank you also good signers for your service to the USA and the people of the
world. I ask you all to print or burn your recollections of your service, and those of
your fathers, grandfathers and uncles onto disk. It is important to the preservation of
accurate history especially from those who will stop at nothing to destroy it.

Dear Mr. Don Bendell and family, First of all, thank you so much for serving in Vietnam
to defend my people against the blood-thirty communist rapists and murderers. Second,
thank you again for fighting against their #1 man on Capitol Hill: Double-Face Kerry, who
is an absolute disgrace and traitor to everything American. Two years ago, I was part of a
delegation of around 300 people from 28 states that came to Boston to raise hell for Kerry
because of his blockage of the Vietnam Religious Freedom Bill which was overwhelming
passed by the House of Representatives by a vote of 411 to 1. Yet, Double-Face Kerry had
the nerves to block it from entering the Senate floor and let it die out. I ask every
decent freedom-loving American, "Is this the type of person you would want to be your
next President?" Heck, I wouldn't even allow him to hold the small title of
councilman of my district. I sugguest all patriotic Americans to show up at any place that
Kerry stops at in his political campaigning and hold up big signs that read "Kerry,
slave driver", "Kerry: 2 faces with 0 conscious", "Hanoi Kerry"
and the like. We have to beat his political dreams to the ground! Good luck and GOD bless!

Sir, your voice of truth is a refreshing change that the liberal media refuse to bring
forth. As an American, I thank you, all veterans, and active duty personel that serve or
have served our country. As a veteran, I know the sacrifice that military service personel
make both in war and in peacetime service. John Kerry in my opinion became a traitor like
Jane Fonda and others. He disgraced our country, and has dishonored all that have ever
served in uniform. His protest, like his voting record in Congress show who and what he
truely is. Mest wishes for a speedy and successfully recovery to your wife. God Bless Our

I volunteered for Nam in the Army. I celebrated my 19th birthday 1 month getting there.
I was not a combatant, but I repaired radar, traveling to fire bases from Long Bin. Non
the less, I was there to serve my country and hopefully ensure the maximum number of GI's
were safer because the equipment worked. I was 19 when I returned home. I couldn't
understand the dismal home coming that felt almost like a forced shame when I walked out
of the San Francisco airport in my uniform. It was like entering a shadow, tepid with a
quiet loathe. I was rather naive about the whole anti-vietnam cadre. My eyes were opened
when I was blasted by a couple of older Viet Nam vets in college that spoke disparagingly
about the Viet Nam war. I am ashamed that I walked with them for a short time before
coming to my senses. Even after I broke with those fellows, I still felt some shame until
I methodically thought through the situation. I did go there for the right reason, and my
choice was right. We were fighting a force of tyranny. I could see it in the eyes of the
Vietnamese people and the courageous Hmong and Loas troops fighting from the fire bases I
served. People throughout the years laughed at me when I told them we were there to not
only help our Asian friend, but to protect our home. Some of my inlaws are among the
loudest scoffers. I don't take any guff from them anymore. One of my greatest surprises
was seeing the picture of Kerry so close to Jane Fonda. I really thought it was a spoof
until I searched the web for a couple of hours, time and again confirming its
authenticity. I was incredulous, to say the least, to read the lies and betrayal Kerry
planted and fertilized. The same lies that resonated through much of the country and
especially San Francisco during that era. I understand why I came home to an atmosphere of
disillusionment and an UNWARRANTED sense of shame. We had a full fledged TRAITOR working
full time to create a hate for the exceedingly vast majority of us who did serve with our
whole heart, doing what was right and honorable. I don't have any medals to speak of. I
know I faithfully fixed radar and there is a chance some of our guys and gals returned
safely because mortar origins were correctly identified and eliminated (Q10 and Q4 radar)
and some enemy troop movements were identified and successfully addressed (pps10 and tps25
radar). Kerry, don't bother coming to my home for supper unless you are ready to eat crow,
confess your lies and change your ways. I hope you never eat a meal in the home where a
real Commander in Chief should be eating. Sami

Don: I could never thank you enough for your service in Vietnam. You should be
extremely proud of your service to this great nation! As many Vietnam Veteran officers
have stated, we would have won that war had it not been for our lack of resolve here at
home, exacerbated by the filthy anti-war protesters. I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1995
as an ATC(AW)(E-7); I repaired the avionics systems on F-14s and F/A-18s aboard three
different aircraft carriers: JFK, Connie and Carl Vinson. Thank you for exposing John
Kerry for what he is: a traitor to this great nation. It sickens me that he is claiming to
be a hero in light of his short tour of duty, dubious exit from Nam, and especially his
anti-war activities, while thousands of his fellow soldiers died or came home with limbs
missing. What a man did 30 years ago IS important if it exposes his character and ability
to lead the most powerful nation on earth. Fellow Vets: we must get the word out about
this disgusting human being; write letters to the editor of your local paper, attend
rallies, display Bush/Cheney bumper stickers, send e-mails of Kerry's anti-defense voting
record to your friends and encourage them to pass them on, whatever you have to do. We
MUST NOT allow Kerry to be Commander in Chief of our fine military men and women who
REVERE President Bush. We cannot do that to them after they have fought so bravely in the
War on Terror!

Job well done. I hope that articles like this surface in all forms of media. It is time
the people that claim to be the "leaders" of our country are stopped from
destroying everything that those who wear the uniform fight to protect. I have no time for
self-serving individuals who are motivated by their own personal gain. It is the
self-sacrificing people who have fought in all branches of the service to their country
who do it and ask nothing in return. Thanks to them, we have the freedom to write and read
the articles, like yours, that speak the truth and point out the differences between what
really happened and the way the self-serving individuals remember it. Freedom of speech it
is...truth it is not. Truth of the matter is, too many people accept what people of power
say simply because of the title and position they hold.

Don, Great article. I too served in Nam,'67-'68 on riverboats as part of the mobile
riverine force down in the delta. To me, John Kerry is a traitorious(sp)coward. There were
many brave men who were wounded in action, but did not choose or ask to be sent home. I
guess that going home like a coward was not enough for him, he also had to disgrace all
the fine men who were doing their duty,to try to bring them down to his level. I don't
have first hand knowledge of this, but I read on a veterans board that the papers that
nominated Kerry for his Silver Star were signed by a member of his crew, with other crew
members as witnesses. I don't believe that Kerry served with honor, nor do I believe that
he should be allowed to lead the brave men and women that are now serving in our Armed
Forces as their Commander-In-Chief. Thanks to all the brave men and women who served in

U.S. Army 1977 - 1999. We all appreciate your (and all the other Vietnam era vets')
service during a most difficult war. One way to look at Kerry's accusations: if such
atrocities and war crimes were so common, why was My Lai such a big deal?? Also, with all
the press reporting from Vietnam, why didn't they ever report such things? To betray your
fellow soldiers the way Kerry did is inexcusable.

I served as Green Beret in I Corp with the Mobile Strike Force, and at a Special A Team
A-109 Thoung Duc. The men that were tortured in North Vietnam (Prisoners) for an
additional 2-1/2 years after Kerry statements which he said he did not see but heard of
them was an out right lie, period. He served only 4 months and had no life threatening
wounds but scratches, probably mosquitos bites. He should be bared from the Vietnam Wall
of Honorees that gave their ultimate, if he does get elected he will proably have Hanoi
Jane Fonda as his Secretary of the Army since they worked together so well in having our
men and women killed and tortured for their own personal and political gain After 19 years
what has Kerry done for this country but vote to just about eliminate our U.S. military
defenses, i guess Hanoi Fonda would then be our military seating behind a North Vietnemese
Machine Gun, however aimed at our own citizens. If America doesnt wake up some morning

Don, Thank you for stating your opinion. I am veteran that served for 10 years and
never saw combat as you have or as John Kerry has. I do share in your beliefs that Kerry
appears to be an opportunist that he has used his connections all his life and will use
any issue to serve his purposes as you have pointed out. I cannot trust a man that will
take a poll before making a decision as our past President Clinton did. Because of this
way of being our Chief Executive I feel that all the economic problems and 9-11 are due to
that. Thank God! George Bush is our President now. Most of all he is a man of principle
and will make executive decisions on what he feels will be best for citizens of the United
States. The decisions he has made are made with the best interest of Citizens of our great
county and I may not always agree with them, but they are decisions made. For me that is
more important to have someone to do that then someone who will take a poll first. Polls
are for legislatures to take not the Chief Executive. To all those who disagree with you,
God bless them that are their right. This right was and is being protected by you and
those who served and now serving in all branches of the services including the National
Guard, Reserves, and the regulars in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.
The big question I have for anybody that says George W. Bush was AWOL or a deserter from
the National Guard. Where is your proof that he was Absent Without Leave or a
Deserter, like an disinplinary action such as an Article 15? AWOL means what it says
Absent Without Leave I see no proof that he was Absent Without Leave.

Somehow, I dont think he understands that it is the very veterans and current
military personnel who afford him this freedom. I know he served 4 months in Vietnam, I

I served proudly in Vietnam with the First Cavalry Division (Airmobile). I saw heroism
and compassion towards the Vietnamese. I witnessed no atrocities. I witnessed no rapes. I
believe John Kerry is a disgrace to his uniform and his country. It is incomprehensible to
me what his motives for lying and fabrication and assisting our enemies have been. I have
one word for John Kerry. He is a "Dirtbag". He is certainly not one of a
"Band of Brothers."

Don, I'm truly thrilled to meet a man who has blood in his veins! I am far too tired of
imitators who expend their vitrolic behavior in the political arena. I was a National
Guardsman in the United States Army in Montana in 1961. In 1962-3 we were on line to be
sent to Cuba. As you know, that never happened for us, but the Cuban refuges that went
were all slaughtered. I'm proud to have been a Guardsman!

I was much too young to serve in Vietnam but my daughters godfather is currently
serving in Iraq. What some people don't seem to remember is that hundreds of people died
to protect America and they are still there defending this country today. Those young men
and women that served in Vietnam defended freedom and help shape our military today. Those
unspoken heros were fathers, brothers, and friends who gave themselves to protect this
country.

My e-mail name should say it all, but I just want to add that I lost my Dad, several
cousins, and friends to Agent Orange from Viet Nam. Although my heart aches for those
losses, the pride in their service far outweighs the pain! As a senior in high school in
l967 I asked my Dad why he had to go to Nam, and he simply said it was to keep
"them" from coming over here where his loved ones are. Well, looks like a few
got past him, namely Kerry, Fonda, etc. I have the highest regard for you, your stand on

I am far too young to have been in Viet Nam, but I did serve this great nation for 7
yrs. I was active duty in the Air Force during Desert Shield/Storm!! I also do not
appreciate ANY servace man or woman being crucified for our service to this nation. Many
lies have been told about us and the "thanks" just seems often to be
non-existent. In fact many so called benefits just are not available when those of us who
have given to this nation call upon them. I have not been able to find decent full time
work since leaving the service--with YEARS of solid experience and work ethics that BEAT
the work ethics of many civialians by a LONG SHOT!! People forget or fail to realize that
we remain a free nation ONLY due to the willingness of men and women to sacrifice even to
the point of life to ensure we remain that way. We also sacrifice our lives to ensure
freedoms for other peoples around the world--always have, always will!! We have NEVER gone
to another land with a goal of gaining OIL or any such thing as an outcome!! We go to
serve and protect people, to oust dictators, terrorist and any who endanger lives of
PEOPLE!! The cost of freedom--here or abroad--is BLOOD!! It has always been so and will
continue to be. You cannot expect to go to war and NOT suffer loss of life!! Not
possible!! But we do not sacrifice lives for the reasons we have been accused of. I am
100% behind President Bush and support him 100% for re-election. I do not buy into any of
the bull the democratic nominees are dishing out!! I will NEVER support anyone who slings
bull about the Commander-in-Chief of this nation--even if you do NOT like him!! Funny how
so many supported President Clinton and he was FAR from the MORAL man of honor that
President Bush is!! Bill Clinton WAS a draft dodger, a sneak, a crook and morally bankrupt
but the same people who bash President Bush LOVED him!! In my opinion, the thinking and
rationale of many people in this nation is twisted and corrupt. Oh the screaming and
weeping and wailing that would go on if we were to actually return to the founding beliefs
of this nation!! We have fallen sooo far!! Bonnie Díaz

truth. I believe in George Bush's leadership & I believe America's ability to stand
strong is in our military & morale leadership. Clinton was a disgrace and Kerry would
be no better. I pray the people of this country will do more then listen to the democratic
media support before they cast their votes. Personally, I'm volunteering for the Bush
Campaign because I believe in actions not just words. Kerry has not only dishonored the
military personnel with his is self-serving efforts but he dishonored the men & women
that died September 11th in that terrorist attack on American soil. His loyalty is not to

questioned the President's NG service. I hope that somebody from CTF-115 shows up with
some facts challenging Kerry's Vietnam record. I never heard of anybody with any outfit
collecting that much hardware so fast (less than 4 Months). Three Purple Hearts, but no
limp. All injuries were so minor that no time was lost from duty. Amazing luck! Then he
used the three purple hearts to request a trip home eight months before the end of his

Semper Fi. As a Former Marine who served 9 years on active duty, including most of a

with Hanoi Jane who should have been tried for treason. Most of the carnage Sen. Kerry

Sir Thank you for the article on Kerry. It was very informative. I hope your wife is
recovering nicely. Unfortunately men and women like yourself are far to few. I'm refering
not just to your military service, but also to the fact that you have the nerve to speak
out about what is on your mind. I have been married to my wife for 22 years. In that time
we have lost our daughter to a medical condition after a number of years in the nursing
home. Because we insisted that she be cared for in a humane manner and not just as a
source of income for the corporation, we were subjected to court proceeding where we were
threatened with not having access to our daughter and losing custody of our grandson. My
wife is afraid to speak out against authority now, fearing that we will be prosecuted for
our opinions. This IS the country that you and I both served. Jimmie Root SSG, USA (RET)

Thank you. I was the luckiest niece in the world when my uncle came back from Korea and
then two of them came back from Vietnam. Not many can say that. The look in their eyes
often told me not to ask and just hug. To look at Kerry now and attempt to put hisself in
the same category as true brave soliders and real heros just makes my skin crawl. I have
friends in the service now and back through Desert Storm. The fact that they are all ok is
enough to make my heart proud. However, just as they know I do to that many will not
return but they proudly stood to defend my very way of life. The fact that Kerry even has
the opportunity to stand and make his inane remarks is proof enough that our military is
standing tall so that he can open his mouth. I wish with all my heart that there was some
way possible to have your letter read loud and proud so that others who suspect or even
can't decide who to vote for can see Kerry's true colors. Bush is everything that everyone
should be. Not afraid to stand and make a strong statement. Maybe just maybe if a few
people who think that we should never step in and give aid or put down rulers who wanted
to have more than thier fair share, where suddenly faced with having to live under
conditions beyond their belief or watched as loved ones died they might just wake up and
understand what our military is here for. How sad most of them never open their eyes past
their own wallet.

A friend sent me to a web site about your comments on Kerry, and it, in turn, had a
link that brought me here. Although I was too young to personally remember much about
Vietnam and my dad had already retired from the Air Force and was therefore not involved,
I DO have a cousin who served. Therefore, I thank you for your comments and can guarantee
that, although our governor endorses Kerry, I won't be voting for him. Since the Maine
primaries don't seem to be very well publicized, however, I'm unsure as to whether or not
I may have already missed my chance to vote against him in that race. I can, however, say
that I won't vote for Kerry if he happens to be the one who goes up against
"Shrub". Much as I can't stand most of W's comments, policies and behaviors, I
think four more years of being ruled over by an idiot is better than being ruled over by
someone so determined to undermine a group of people who gave so much for this country. I
just wish all of America would get off the high horse we got on in the 70's and just
accept that our Vietnam Servicemen (and women) had as little choice about serving as the
ones who are currently in Iraq. When America goes to war, those in the Armed Forces are
honor bound to risk life and limb for us idiots back here on the home soil. Bless you for

never have gotten as elevated as he is now. Remember, Benedict Arnold was also a decorated
war veteran, then traitor, Adolf Hitler, decorated war veteran, then monster, and history
is trying to repeat itself with this fool. Best wishes, Ryan

Don, Thank you for the pleasure I received from reading your editorial about Mr. Kerry.
I am also glad to see your guest book is filling up with other vets who for so long may
have had second thoughts about even mentioning their service in Nam. My visit there in
1969 was cut short but I still have a souvenir in the back of my head to remind me. For
many years I was very angry with my beloved country for failing to win a war with which I
now feel we never should have been involved. Politicians got us involved, politicicans
wouldn't let us win, and politicians made fools of us all. What fools shall we become
should Mr. Kerry become Commander-In-Chief?

Don and Shirley, Its been more years than I care to count, I was one of the extras for,
"The Instructor", you finished filming in Canon. I am in the National Guard now
and I am currently deployed with Operation Noble Eagle. It greatly saddens me that Kerry
portrays the military in such light. There is nothing glorious about war, but to vomit
such "horse manure" about our (America's) vets is so completly unpatriotic, he
should be shown the way to our border and asked not to return. Thanks for the
enlightenment about Kerry that the media has overlooked.

owe you and your children serving for our freedoms our deepest thanks. Those who servce in
the Military are the real hero's we as Americans have to respect. America brings freedom
and democracy to other countries through your sacrifices. Mr Kerry obviously hasn't done
anything since Vietnam if that is the only issue on his Lifes Resume worth Talking about.
Since when do we in this country "Rest on our Laurels" as he has done. That's
more of a dictatorial trait, be successful once and take over. Morality is what makes a
Man or a Woman!!! I would really like to see some reporters ask him about why he never

Nice work on that editorial you wrote about Kerry. I served twenty years in the US Navy
(retired) and I would hang my head in shame if I were still in just thinking that this
dolt named Kerry could possibly become my commander-in-chief. Be it known that when
Clinton was president, he was often shunned as ranks were made to fall in upon any of his
"visits." Just like Clinton, I hope our military would treat him with the same
disrespect that they did with Clinton. Great site, I will have to read the poetry section

Viet Nam, U.S. Naval Security Group 1969-1970. I can think of another military man who
served this nation heroically, was wounded in combat, and then returned to betray those
fellow soldiers who had served with him before. After he returned from combat, he devoted
his best efforts to this nation's enemies and to demoralizing and degrading those soldiers
still fighting for our freedom. His name was Benedict Arnold. John Kerry knows this name

experience with Vietnam. Nonetheless my father missed the draft by one number and I just
received my own Selective Service card on Monday. I appreciate your editorial, I believe
that you are absolutely right. Kerry may have served his country, but his statements
against Bush and the National Guard are despicable and political. His voting record shows
that he has no intention of maintaining strong intelligence agencies or a well-equipped

that his ideology is misguided and will undermine national security. Dubya '04.

John Kerry is absolutely the most contradictory, incompetent, and comprimising
Presidential candidate America has ever seen. I can not even fathom how he is viewed as
electable. Also, my grandfather turned down a WWII Medal of Honor because during war, the
