HI Don, I just sent President Bush your speaking out to John Kerry. I see Kerry as a traitor. And don't trust him, even as the role of dog catcher. And wish the American people had alternative news Channels, other than the three Leftist stations. God help us is Kerry should win. Keep up the great service you are doing, and thank you for going to Nam for our country. Best, Scott Paris

During '67 I flew slicks and guns with the 119th AHC out of Pleiku. During that period we provided aviation support for several SF units. During the latter part of my tour we were with 5th SOG and provided fire support during the battle of Hill 875 (Dak Tho). Our gun Platoon were the Crocodiles. You guys were the greatest and I was and am proud to have been a small part of SOG. Keep up the good work. Kerry is a bum! CWO Patrick Lewis

Thank you so very much for telling the truth. John Kerry is the epidomy of a glutten for power. He is so transparent. Why can't others see that? Please do what you can to get an interview with local or national media, so that the whole country can see for themselves. Thanks again for telling it like it is. Randle Pendleton USAF Ret.

Don,I have read nearly all of your work on your web site and I sure appreciate you work. I am Republican and will be voting for President Bush. My son is in Iraq with the NG of the 30th Heavy Brigade and I do not want Kerry as his CinC. I have been spreading your web site every where so people can see what this man has done. I am a veteran of the Navy between North Korea and Vietnam and served during the blockade of Cuba. I appreciate all that our troops have done over the years for this country to keep it free and especially for you to stand up to this menace we have that will destroy our way of life if he gets a chance. My prays will be with you and please keep speaking for the veterans and the men that have died with honor. I salute you and men like you.

I, too, was a Swift-Boat crew member 1958-1960 .. Yes we were on patrol off South Viet-Nam (Quemoy & Matsu) back then, but it wasn't "official" because war wasn't declared yet, but we were getting our butts shot at daily from ground forces and MIG'sin the air. Mr. Kerry was one of the 90=day wonders we had to contend with who didn't know crap about the boats ... It's a wonder he made it back the way he commanded that boat. Jim Rome. U.S. 7th Fleet Marines

I simply wanted to express my support for the things you cited in an email I recently received. I have never served in the military but fully support those who defend my rights to be an American and personally consider John Kerry's comments to be a betrayal to those who served with him. As I understand from those soldiers who served in Vietnam, it was not a "polite" war. Rules of engagement were violated for the first time in American "war" history. One has to fight fire with fire. If we don't learn to do so quickly, Iraq will be another disappointment to those who are serving today.

Sir, Your editorials rightfully expose John Kerry and the media that support him. I am impressed so many Vietnam Vets are responding to your writings, but I am afraid a simple casting of votes come November won’t be enough. Kerry is known for tough fights at the end of his political campaigns. He has the media in his pocket because they are afraid to take on what they call “a war hero.” How can we as a group, barely connected via the Internet, take action against such a lie before the election? What are the media emails and regular mail addresses we write to so that we can express our opinions? Which sponsors of news media do we boycott to make ourselves heard loudly enough? Creating an organization or joining one may help, but I’d rather be able to take action myself. Any ideas?

John Kerry…the HERO?? A wake up call for every voter... The following quotes come from people who were actually close to Kerry in Vietnam. They are not afraid to speak out! Pass this on to all your contacts - Republicans and Democrats! Before casting their vote for President this November, everyone needs to read what these warriors have to say. "We resent very deeply the false war crimes charges he made coming back from Vietnam in 1971 and repeated in the book "Tour of Duty." We think those cast an aspersion on all those living and dead, from our unit and other units in Vietnam. We think that he knew he was lying when he made the charges, and we think that they're unsupportable. We intend to bring the truth about that to the American people. We believe, based on our experience with him, that he is totally unfit to be the Commander-in-Chief." -- John O'Neill Spokesman Swift Boat Veterans for Truth http://www.swiftvets.com/ "I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of the United States. This is not a political issue. It is a matter of his judgment, truthfulness, reliability, loyalty and trust -- all absolute tenets of command. His biography, 'Tour of Duty,' by Douglas Brinkley, is replete with gross exaggerations, distortions of fact, contradictions and slanderous lies. His contempt for the military and authority is evident by even a most casual review of this biography. He arrived in-country with a strong anti-Vietnam War bias and a self-serving determination to build a foundation for his political future. He was aggressive, but vain and prone to impulsive judgment, often with disregard for specific tactical assignments. He was a 'loose cannon.' In an abbreviated tour of four months and 12 days, and with his specious medals secure, Lt.(jg) Kerry bugged out and began his infamous betrayal of all United States forces in the Vietnam War. That included our soldiers, our marines, our sailors, our coast guardsmen, our airmen, and our POWs. His leadership within the so-called Vietnam Veterans Against the War and testimony before Congress in 1971 charging us with unspeakable atrocities remain an undocumented but nevertheless meticulous stain on the men and women who honorably stayed the course. Senator Kerry is not fit for command." -- Rear Admiral Roy Hoffman, USN (retired), chairman, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth "During Lt. (jg) Kerry's tour, he was under my command for two or three specific operations, before his rapid exit. Trust, loyalty and judgment are the key, operative words. His turncoat performance in 1971 in his grubby shirt and his medal-tossing escapade, coupled with his slanderous lines in the recent book portraying us that served, including all POWs and MIAs, as murderous war criminals, I believe, will have a lasting effect on all military veterans and their families. Kerry would be described as devious, self-absorbing, manipulative, disdain for authority, disruptive, but the most common phrase that you'd hear is 'requires constant supervision.'" -- Captain Charles Plumly, USN (retired). "Thirty-five years ago, many of us fell silent when we came back to the stain of sewage that Mr. Kerry had thrown on us, and all of our colleagues who served over there. I don't intend to be silent today or ever again. Our young men and women who are serving deserve no less." -- Andrew Horne "In my specific, personal experience in both coastal and river patrols over a 12-month period, I never once saw or heard anything remotely resembling the atrocities described by Senator Kerry. If I had, it would have been my obligation to report them in writing to a higher authority, and I would certainly have done that. If Senator Kerry actually witnessed or participated in these atrocities or, as he described them, 'war crimes’, he was obligated to report them. That he did not until later when it suited his political purposes strikes me as opportunism of the worst kind. That he would malign my service and that of his fellow sailors with no regard for the truth makes him totally unqualified to serve as Commander-in-Chief." -- Jeffrey Wainscott. "I signed that letter because I, too felt a deep sense of betrayal that someone who took the same oath of loyalty as I did as an officer in the United States Navy would abandon his group here (points to group photo) to join this group here (points to VVAW protest photo), and come home and attempt to rally the American public against the effort that this group was so valiantly pursuing. It is a fact that in the entire Vietnam War we did not lose one major battle. We lost the war at home... and at home, John Kerry was the Field General." -- Robert Elder. "My daughters and my wife have read portions of the book 'Tour of Duty.' They wanted to know if I took part in the atrocities described. I do not believe the things that are described happened. Let me give you an example. In Brinkley's book, on pages 170 to 171, about something called the 'Bo De massacre' on November 24th of 1968... In Kerry's description of the engagement, first he claimed there were 17 servicemen that were wounded. Three of us were wounded. I was the first..." -- Joseph Ponder. "While in Cam Rahn Bay, he trained on several 24-hour indoctrination missions and one special skimmer operation with my most senior and trusted Lieutenant. The briefing from some members of that crew the morning after revealed that they had not received any enemy fire, and yet Lt.(jg) Kerry informed me of a wound -- he showed me a scratch on his arm and a piece of shrapnel in his hand that appeared to be from one of our own M-79s. It was later reported to me that Lt.(jg) Kerry had fired an M-79, and it had exploded off the adjacent shoreline. I do not recall being advised of any medical treatment, and probably said something like 'Forget it.' He later received a Purple Heart for that scratch, and I have no information as to how or whom. Lt.(jg) Kerry was allowed to return to the good old USA after 4 months and a few days in-country, and then he proceeded to betray his former shipmates, calling them criminals who were committing atrocities. Today we are here to tell you that just the opposite is true. Our rules of engagement were quite strict, and the officers and men of Swift often did not even return fire when they were under fire if there was a possibility that innocent people -- fishermen, in a lot of cases -- might be hurt or injured. The rules and the good intentions of the men increased the possibility that we might take friendly casualties." -- Commander Grant Hibbard, USN (retired). "Lt. Kerry returned home from the war to make some outrageous statements and allegations... of numerous criminal acts in violation of the law of war were cited by Kerry, disparaging those who had fought with honor in that conflict. Had war crimes been committed by US forces in Vietnam? Yes, but such acts were few and far between. Yet Lt. Kerry have numerous speeches and testimony before Congress inappropriately leading his audiences to believe that what was only an anomaly in the conduct of America's fighting men was an epidemic. Furthermore, he suggested that they were being encouraged to violate the law of war by those within the chain of command. Very specific orders, on file at the Vietnam archives at Texas Tech University, were issued by my father [Admiral Elmo Zumwalt] and others in his chain of command instructing subordinates to act responsibly in preserving the life and property of Vietnamese civilians." -- Lt. Col. James Zumwalt, USMC (retired). "We look at Vietnam... after all these years it is still languishing in isolated poverty and helplessness and tyranny. This is John Kerry's legacy. I deeply resent John Kerry's using his Swift boat experience, and his betrayal of those who fought there as a stepping-stone to his political ambitions." -- Barnard Wolff "In a whole year that I spent patrolling, I didn't see anything like a war crime, an atrocity, anything like that. Time and again I saw American fighting men put themselves in graver danger trying to avoid... collateral damage. When John Kerry returned to the country, he was sworn in front of Congress. And then he told my family -- my parents, my sister, my brother, my neighbors -- he told everyone I knew and everyone I'd ever know that I and my comrades had committed unspeakable atrocities." -- David Wallace. "I served with these guys. I went on missions with them, and these men served honorably. Up and down the chain of command there was no acquiescence to atrocities. It was not condoned, it did not happen, and it was not reported to me verbally or in writing by any of these men including Lt.(jg) Kerry. In 1971, '72, for almost 18 months, he stood before the television audiences and claimed that the 500,000 men and women in Vietnam, and in combat, were all villains -- there were no heroes. In 2004, one hero from the Vietnam War has appeared, running for President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief. It just galls one to think about it." -- Captain George Elliott, USN (retired). "During the Vietnam War I was Task Force Commander at An Thoi, and my tour of duty was 13 months, from the end of Tet to the beginning of the Vietnamization of the Navy units. Now when I went there right after Tet, I was restricted in my movements. I couldn't go much of anyplace because the Vietcong controlled most of the area. When I left, I could go anywhere I wanted, just about. Commerce was booming, the buses were running, trucks were going, the waterways were filled with sampans with goods going to market, but yet in Kerry's biography he says that our operations were a complete failure. He also mentions a formal conference with me, to try to get more air cover and so on. That conference never happened..." -- Captain Adrian Lonsdale, USCG (retired). "I was in An Thoi from June of '68 to June of '69, covering the whole period that John Kerry was there. I operated in every river, in every canal, and every off-shore patrol area in the 4th Corps area, from Cambodia all the way around to the Bo De River. I never saw, even heard of all of these so-called atrocities and things that we were supposed to have done. This is not true. We're not standing for it. We want to set the record straight." -- William Shumadine. "In 1971, when John Kerry spoke out to America, labeling all Vietnam veterans as thugs and murderers, I was shocked and almost brought to my knees, because even though I had served at the same time and same unit, I had never witnessed or participated in any of the events that the Senator had accused us of. I strongly believe that the statements made by the Senator were not only false and inaccurate, but extremely harmful to the United States' efforts in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world. Tragically, some veterans, scorned by the antiwar movement and their allies, retreated to a life of despair and suicide. Two of my crewmates were among them. For that there is no forgiveness. “ -- Richard O’Meara. "My name is Steve Gardner. I served in 1966 and 1967 on my first tour of duty in Vietnam on Swift boats, and I did my second tour in '68 and '69, involved with John Kerry in the last 2 1/2 months of my tour. The John Kerry that I know is not the John Kerry that everybody else is portraying. I served alongside him and behind him, five feet away from him in a gun tub, and watched as he made indecisive moves with our boat, put our boats in jeopardy, put our crews in jeopardy... if a man like that can't handle that 6-man crew boat, how can you expect him to be our Commander-in-Chief?" -- Steven Gardner. "I served in Vietnam as a boat officer from June of 1968 to July of 1969. My service was three months in Coastal Division 13 out of Cat Lo, and nine months with Coastal Division 11 based in An Thoi. John Kerry was in An Thoi the same time I was. I'm here today to express the anger I have harbored for over 33 years, about being accused with my fellow shipmates of war atrocities. All I can say is when I leave here today, I'm going down to the Wall to tell my two crew members it's not true, and that they and the other 49 Swiftees who are on the Wall were then and are still now the best." -- Robert Brant. "I never saw, heard of, or participated in any Swift boat crews killing cattle, poisoning crops, or raping and killing civilians as charged by John Kerry, both in his book and in public statements. Since we both operated at the same time, in the same general area, and on the same missions under the same commanders, it is hard to believe his claims of atrocities and poor planning of Sea Lord missions. I signed this letter because I feel that he used Swift boat sailors to proclaim his antiwar statements after the war, and now he uses the same Swift boat sailors to support his claims of being a war hero. He cannot have it both ways, and we are here to ask for full disclosure of the proof of his claims." -- James Steffes.

Don, number 7 is the truest of all of your editorials. Thank God for the internet in this election year. What is so sad is the ignorance of most Americans about kerry's record because the media will not present the truth. Each time it is brought up the left has a political hack which covers it over and there is never a rebuttal. Vets had a conference in Boston "Myths of the Vietnam War" and I have seen nothing in print about this seminar. May God bless us all. At least you guys are trying. CATEGORY: Stuff about our Commander in Chief, George W. Bush, that never makes the news. ITEM (from a friend in attendance): "Last Wednesday, we were in Colorado Springs for the AF Academy graduation; featured speaker was George W. Bush. A little long winded, but the speech was punctuated with a lot of applause, which suggested that a lot of the military brass in attendance support him. However, what was more impressive to me was the fact that he personally saluted and congratulated every single cadet that crossed the stage, my son included. There were nearly 1000 cadets and this process took 1 hour, 40 minutes. I watched him through my zoom, and he displayed the personal touch all the way through: every cadet was saluted; the men were then given a hand shake and often a pat on the shoulder with his left hand or some other personal words; the women were all given a hug and some of the women cadets also gave him a kiss on the check. Occasionally, a cadet would ask for a 'wave to my parents' and then the cadet and the president would turn to the crowd and wave in the correct direction. He showed as much enthusiasm to the middle and last cadets as to the first ones -- in fact, he looked like he was enjoying himself! At the Academy graduation, the 'top 10%' are noted as Distinguished Graduates (known as 'DGs' -- the Academy doesn't have summa, magna cum laude, etc.) and they graduate first. The rest of the graduates walk across by squadron (36 squadrons). 5 years ago, when Clinton was there, he only personally congratulated the DGs (takes about 10 minutes) and then he sat down. Bush was offered the same option, but refused -- said he wanted to recognize every single graduate. This is the stuff about the man that never makes the news...." ~~~~~AMEN, BROTHERS! This President has the RIGHT STUFF!~~~~~

5. "Take your smartass National Guard comments to the mothers of the 6,077 reservists and Nat’l guard members killed in Vietnam and tell them their sons were cowards and see what they say." I keep seeing this crap stated almost word for word in several places on your site. You KNOW that the politically connected used service in the National Guard to greatly decrease their chances of dying in Vietnam. It's interesting that you lump reservists with National Guard deaths. How many National Guardsmen actually lost their lives in Vietnam?

Hire John Kerry for the TOP JOB in the USA? Well, shouldn't we review his job application? Here it is... ~~~ JOB APPLICATION ~~~ APPLICANT: John Kerry RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including Washington DC, worth multi-millions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Law Enforcement. I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire. MILITARY: I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor). I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Or did I? My book; Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier shows how I truly feel about the military. COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A. PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: As a US Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected. My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in MA, despite family wealth in excess of $700 million. I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit from the cheaper cost of labor in those Countries, although I Blame George Bush for sending all of the jobs out of Country. ~~~ END OF KERRY CANDIDATE JOB APPLICATION ~~~

I'm a combat vet-U.S. Navy 21 months "River patrol" or "Riv-ah Rats" as were called 1968-70. John Kerry was a "swiftie" easy target. Rough Duty,I see by what I read on these "Cough-Fair and Balanced pages-hmmm? part of Fox T.V?or just a Republican subidized "Lackeyman" Syndrone page? I don't get it . you guy that are Nom vets not supporting another Nom vet. but loving a certified military deserter-Bush should be in Leavenworth and he knows it. Hes a rat. He's screws the country and you guys just eat it up ,and believe the lies and "hallow rhetoric" Kerry didn't shoot down all those military programs, believe it or not it was Dick Cheney, according to Factchek.com. Your "DOG won't hunt" with people that know the truth. The truth is the last four years of the Bushites has been a lie;the whole time ,and they just laugh at people like you. Bush Cut Veterans benefits by 1.5 billion dollars-Kerry is going to get it back. Kerry is for the Veteran;Bush is for the Rich (himself included) I've read the stuff on these pages and with out a doubt you guys write stuff to "goof" yourselves" then "high five each other" amazing herd mentality stuff. I read where Don Bendell snivels about the "Yards" does he know any ? name two? this stuff is incredible -its like a groupie session with "Rush Limbaugh" (you know that pompous blowhard) as the pivot man........gimme a break;get a life ; get real ;learn the truth;if you take time to do that instead of jumping on the "Downer Domino's Wagon" who knows you might get enlightenment and educated. (what a concept) now quit picking on John Kerry,he's a combat vet and so am I . Vietnam Combat Vets are for Kerry. Wm.M.Geraghty. Bill@fireforeffect.com there,I'll stick my neck out,and give you my address,I'm not Chicken Chit like some "snivelers" I read about on thes pages. FLASH.................NO BIC!

Email just received on Senator John Kerry...makes you wonder about the Democrats in general! Sen. John Kerry, Democrat from Massachusetts, says he is strongest Presidential Candidate on National Defense! He said "Check the Record"... We Did! Here is what we learned. He voted to kill the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. He voted to kill the M-1 Abrams Tank. He voted to kill every Aircraft carrier laid down from 1988. He voted to kill the Aegis anti aircraft system. He voted to Kill the F-15 strike eagle. He voted to Kill the Block 60 F-16. He voted to Kill the P-3 Orion upgrade. He voted to Kill the B-1. He voted to Kill the B-2. He voted to Kill the Patriot anti Missile system. He voted to Kill the FA-18. He voted to Kill the F117. He voted to kill every military appropriation for the development and deployment of every weapons systems since 1988,including a bill for battle armor for our troops. It is most likely, with Sen. John Kerry as President and Commander in Chief of our Armed Services, that they will cease to function making it impossible for our country to protect itself. John Kerry voted to kill all anti-terrorism activities of each and every agency of the U.S. Government. He voted to cut the funding of the FBI by 60%, He voted to cut the funding for the CIA by 80%, He voted to cut the funding for the NSA by 80%. THEN, and this is abhorrent to almost every American Voter be you Democrat, Republican or Independent, he voted to increase OUR funding for --U.N. operations by 800% !! Ask yourself: Is THIS a the person you want for President of these United States, providing for the Defense of our Nation, and to be the Leader of the Free World? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Voting history can be accessed through Senate voting records. The above is an accurate summary. ------------------------------------------------------------

A Letter to Senator John Edwards Dear John, I'm certain that your dance card may be pretty well filled in this busy election year, but you may wish to schedule some free time to allow yourself a visit to your Capitol Offices in Washington, D.C. on September 12th.. It will afford you the opportunity to look out upon the mall from the windows of your Senate Office and view "the Panorama of John Kerry's Demise". You see, John, your partner in this years Presidential election failed to take into account the "Law of Diminishing Returns", while making those baseless accusations denigrating our honor before Congress and the Media in 1971. Statements proven to have had no validity. Statements that so easily rolled off the lips of Lieutenent junior grade John Kerry. Statements that sullied the honor and reputations of Vietnam Veterans both living and dead. What your new found friend failed to see then, was that lying to garner the limited political gains needed from the Anti-War faction of those times, in an effort to launch his political career, would eventually cost him the votes of those very same Vietnam Veterans. Upon returning to America, we were the first American War Veterans to be vilified by the American public. Your running mates words played no small part, in casting us in this light. Referred to as baby killers, murderers, rapists, evil incarnate. We returned……… Most berated…….. Some spat upon……….. Myself, after surviving my years of service, nearly killed, by one of the "peace loving hippies" of those times. We went home, took off our uniforms and never brought up the subject of Vietnam again. ……………..Until today. John, we are older now. And we can look back on our lives and see those that supported us in our service to our country and our South Vietnamese allies. We can see our own failings and admit to them. And we can see quite clearly those who betrayed us in our efforts to perform good and honorable service to our country and to the South Vietnamese people. We can look back, thirty-five years, into our own souls, and see the face of John Kerry, staring back, still taunting us with his lies. So, as you look out of your office window and gaze upon the tens upon tens of thousands before you, you will gain a better understanding of the "Law of Diminishing Returns". Each of those Vietnam Veterans, each of those Vietnam "Era" Veterans, those, former South Vietnamese Army Veterans, now Americans; those Montagnard and Mung Warriors. Each has a story of their service in Vietnam. Each has a long memory. And, as you can see, they have their wives and children and grandchildren with them. But unlike the Media accounts of your running mates war heroics……. The Veterans and families before you on the Capitol steps know the real truth. The truth of John Kerry’s betrayal of the honorable men before you, and the betrayal of the country for whom they fought. Most Sincerely, A Vietnam Veteran

My mother-in-law sent me one of your letters. Since I don't readily accept anything I read posted online, I searched to determine if you really existed and obviously, you do. I am glad you and others are speaking out as I had previously read of some of Kerry's exploits but have noticed the media seems to be ignoring it. I appreciate what you and all those vets who have served have done for our country. You see, my ggg grandfather, Joseph, served in the Revolutionary War. His son, Ezekiel, served in the Civil war along with his son and brother-in-law. My dad's father,Ben, served in WW 1 and his brother, Gordon, died late in WW 2 in a plane crash in Iowa. A cousin died in Korea. My mom's brothers served, Harold in Greenland, Iceland, and Alaska, and Merle in Vietnam. My wife's brother was in the first Iraq war and her neice and nephew were both sent to Iraq for the second Iraq War, but returned prior to the actual war. Our family has lost members, had members disabled due to conflict and lives torn apart, but the red in our flag represents our family and this country since the 1700's. Characters such as John Kerry are an abomination on the men and women who have given their lives, their time, and their all for this great country. I salute you and thank you for standing up for them, for you, and for our country! Doug Shepherd Math Teacher, Las Vegas, Nevada

I concur, he has disgraced many that have served and uses his service as a battle-cry for qualifications that he doesn't possess. The liberal press loves him while they crucify our President, a man who truly means just what he says.

It is a shame that our word is not getting on the major networks about Kerry. He is flagrantly calling himself a war hero now and knows that the media won't air your website, Swiftvets For the Truth, etc... Since the Swiftvets press conference on May 4 or 5th exposing Kerry for what he is, (Opportunist) the media has squashed it. He never has had to open all of his records like president Bush did and he is getting away scott free. I guess we can continue to pray for his downfall. And yes, our President is certainly an Eagle. Too bad so many Christians have their heads up their butt. Vietnam was not a mistake. And neither is Iraq. If we loose George W. Bush come November, the blame will hang around the neck of every Christian that didn't vote for "W". The vote will be decided by Christians. If they stay home and pout. Well, I don't want to hear what God will say. Me and mine are voting for "W". Please keep up the good work. It will be even harder now that Ho Che Minhs' boy has picked a smooth talker for a VP. Dear Don, Airborne all the way! I am a Vietnam veteran that served as a medic with the 101st Airborne Division and with the First Cav. I received your fourth article today not knowing about the first three. Anyway, I emailed them to John Kerry, Senator Ted Kennedy, and to MoveOn.org. That'll show em!

Perhaps you haven't been but would love to travel to Antarctica. Possibly you have no intention of going, but just think Antarctica is a cool place.

Sir, I appreciate your efforts and your comments. Although I had a relatively safe job (AF cook at Tan San Nhut), I agree that every Vietnam Veteran has been maligned. Thank you for keeping our concerns in the forefront.
